Cary, said James W. Cary having liquidated prior judgments against Haddox in Clerk’s office of Rappahannock Co. Court in favor of Chelf & Browning and M.L. Deed made 7 Nov 1892 between N.R. Haddox & J.W. Cary, Trustee. Haddox granted with general warranty all rights & interests in estate of C.B. Haddox dec’d in Rappahannock Co., VA, adjoining lands of B.F. Clark, J.D. Haddox & others, containing about 500 acres, in trust to J.E. Ricketts $598.31 payable by demand bond. ** Death


Norbert R. Haddox, 74, a retired government engineer, died shortly after 1 o'clock last night at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Shaefer, 312 G street, northeast, Washington. The body was brought here and taken to Wheatley's mortuary chapel, from whence the funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Wallace M. Brashears, pastor of Trinity M. E. Church, and burial will be in Bethel cemetery.

- The deceased is survived by his wife and three daughters and one son, as follows: Mrs. Elma Wolfe, Recotrtown, Va.; Mrs. William Bradford, Panama Canal Zone; Mrs. Frank Shaeffer, Washington; Linden Haddox, of Washington. (Alexandria Gazette :7, Reported 1927.05.05)


The funeral of Norbert R. Haddox, who died in Washington, took place this aftrnoon from Wheatley's mortuary chapel and was conducted by the Rev. W. M. Brashears, pastor of Trinity M. E. Church and burial was in Bethel cemetery. (Alexandria Gazette :10, Reported 1927.05.07)
